 Honda doet met de nieuwe NSX een aanval op de grote namen in de autowereld. Een 5,5 liter V10 moet er voor zorgen dat hij de Ferrari F430 en Lamborghini Gallardo voor kan blijven. Honda had het uiterlijk van de NSX graag nog even geheim willen houden, maar dankzij een lek in de organisatie lukte dit niet. Via onze collega’s van AutoExpress kunnen we de eerste beelden tonen van de gloednieuwe NSX. Het is weliswaar een technische tekening van de sportwagen, het toont toch een groot gedeelte van het exterieur. "Elk nadeel heb z ’n voordeel," dachten we na het zien van de technische tekening. Het uiterlijk is dan niet zo goed te zien, de techniek is nu wel bevestigd. Op de motor prijkt trots de combinatie V10, die duidt op de 5,5 liter V10. Deze krachtbron zal een vermogen van 560 pk krijgen en klinkt geweldig! Dat bewijst dit filmpje in ieder geval. Met net zoveel vermogen als een Lamborghini Gallardo moeten de prestaties ook aardig gelijk zijn. De bekende sprint van nul naar honderd zal vermoedelijk minder dan vier seconden in beslag nemen en de top zal boven de 320 km/h liggen. Naast een flink vermogen zal het rijgedrag van de NSX ook behoorlijk moeten wezen om tegenstand te kunnen bieden tegen de besten uit Italië. Nu weten we dat dit geen probleem moet zijn voor Honda. De oude NSX staat nog steeds bekend om zijn voortreffelijke weggedrag. Bij de nieuwe variant moet het SH-AWD systeem hier voor zorgen. Het ‘Super Handling-All Wheel Drive’ systeem klinkt in ieder geval al veelbelovend. Volgend jaar staat de introductie van de nieuwe NSX gepland. Ondertussen draait de sportwagen zijn rondjes op de Nürburgring. |
