 Jenson Button heeft gereageerd op de kritieken van Flavio Briatore op de Brawn GP-coureurs donderdag. Briatore beweerde dat Brawn GP het kampioenschap zou gaan domineren omdat de dubbele diffusers zijn goedgekeurd dinsdag."De coureurs van ons team zijn en waren wereldkampioenen, terwijl het kampioenschap nu gaat tussen een coureur die bijna gestopt was en een coureur die aardig is, maar niet snel," was de harde kritiek van Briatore op de Brawn GP-coureurs. "Ik weet niet waar we in terecht zijn gekomen, want het gat dichten naar die teams is onmogelijk." Button sloeg vandaag terug naar Briatore en geeft aan dat de Italiaan zelf heeft geprobeert om hem naar Renault te halen dit jaar.
